Evaluation - Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Oh my ... I went back and watched my preliminary task again, I'm almost embarrassed about how rubbish it is compared to my final film. It is clear i have come along way since i filmed the preliminary. My match on action in my preliminary task was very obvious. In my final film i feel that my match on action is more sutle as it is less in your face. Bellow are screen grabs of my to match on actions to compare:

My Final project:

In my final product i do not show the use of the 180 degree rule, i think this is a weakness of my film and if i was to do this task again i would defiantly try and do some shots to show the rule. I think there is none in my real product due to lack of organisation on the day of filming. Overall i am very pleased as my real product looks a lot better than my preliminary task, i believe this is down to my editing, because in my preliminary task i think my editing looks very clumsy and well ... amateurish. Were as the editing in my film i believe looks more professional with the way it cuts from shot to shot, i believe cutting the shots up with titles helped :).

The thing i am most pleased about is my title of the film because my title of the preliminary task is awful as i just used final cut pro. But for my actual film i used a program called motion and designed a stylish looking title. I think the difference is clear to see ....
